IMPORTANT UPDATE

Dear Friends, Followers and Loyal Collectors:

The time has come for me to begin thinking about streamlining my art business and making hard choices. I am still going to paint and offer my work for sale as usual but I will no longer have a link tree directing website traffic or a Lisa Baker Art Website on Squarespace.

My work will be visible as it has been for years on Instagram, much of it is on Pinterest and I do have a YouTube page mostly dedicated to my Art.

I will still accept PayPal, Venmo, Zelle and Apple Pay. I sold my work for several years successfully before I had a website and I did feel that a site for my art was the next step for me a few years ago. With the changes in the current economy and low engagement and sales it’s a business decision for me to streamline costs associated with my artwork.

Lisa is an Abstract Acrylic and Mixed Media Artist who has found her calling painting on both paper and canvas. Experimental lines, colors, and textures reveal her vivid imagination and abundant creativity. Her work is ever evolving and constantly in flux as she is a self taught artist and works from a home studio. Her current focus is on achieving balance through line work and cohesive color combinations.

Lisa began her creative journey immersed in the scrapbooking world then transitioned to art journaling and rubber stamping- teaching classes and making creative friends all over the USA and beyond. She picked up a paint brush and put it to canvas in 2011 and has not looked back. She finds clarity and peace in the chaos of abstract art and often listens to a wide variety of music or her favorite podcast while painting.

Her pieces are generally layer after layer of magic. The process of adding and subtracting clears her mind when she paints, as Lisa’s art practice has evolved so has her determination and enthusiasm for following her Art Path.

Lisa’s schedule includes working with other artists one on one via video calls and helping them over the hurdles and frustrations of their growth. She has been mentoring others for over eight years.
