Lisa Baker and Theresa Benavidez are holding our first ever full weekend retreat!

“ Elevated Abstracts: Inspired Creativity”

This is a weekend retreat that has equal measure of “creative time” plus “ retreat time” we strongly feel there needs to be a balance of fun creative time plus time to revitalize and renew your soul.

It will be held in Newton Kansas at The Whatever Craft House! Newton Kansas is just 34 miles from the Wichita Airport!

This fully remodeled retreat home was built in 1903 and comfortably sleeps 16 guests. This home has 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a large dine-in kitchen and seperate spacious crafting/work area.

We will offer painting, gelli printing sessions, collage work and paper crafting! You will get a full dose of all the creative goodness that we as creatives long for! It’s all about balance

Your registration will include meals, snacks, refreshments, lodging and two seasoned art instructors plus a surprise guest artist! ( we are SO excited about this and you should be as well! )

Some art materials will be provided but a specific list of supplies will be sent to you upon registration. You will bring most of your own art supplies.

You may check in as early as 10 am on Friday April 11th. Structured events will begin at 1pm Friday. Check out is Sunday April 13th by 10:30 am.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

Enrollment in this workshop is only guaranteed with on line registration and payment in full. If you want to register using Venmo or Zelle instead of PayPal please email Baker.lisa47@gmail.com

While we do not expect any sort of cancellation on our part we would refund registrants 100% in the event that there was a dire emergency causing us to do so. All attendees would be contacted via email.

Student cancellations must be submitted in writing to: baker.lisa47@gmail.com

Leading up to the workshop dates we understand that emergencies arise so we will take a look at each request as needed.

There is a cancellation fee of $100.

With that being said, cancellations occurring less than 10 days in advance will not be refunded. Please do stay in close contact with us should anything unforeseen cause an issue.
